Employee Longevity Key To Span Alaska’s Success [ANCHORAGE - Posted on 8.20.2015]

Span Alaska is delighted to celebrate with several longtime employees who recently hit major milestones of 10 to 30 years of service with the company.

This September, Auburn Warehouse Manager Michael Gunter marks 30 years with Span Alaska Transportation. Driver/Dispatcher John Otterstrom celebrated 25 years with Span in June.

Warehouse Flatbed Loader Sean Weatherill celebrates 15 years, as do Warehouse Associates Jeff Roberson and Dennis Bennett, Dispatcher James Oates, and Credit Manager Lori McGinnis. Logistics Coordinator Gail Hemstead recently marked 10 years of service with the company.

One of the largest freight companies serving Alaska today, Span Alaska Transportation and its related companies ship more than 200 million pounds of freight annually to Alaska. The company employs more than 120 professionals and owns more than 150 pieces of rolling equipment.
