Span Alaska construction of new Anchorage freight terminal [ANCHORAGE – Posted on 03.26.2019]

Watch us grow!! Our 54,000 –square-foot Anchorage Service Center is expected to open in the fourth quarter 2019 and will function as our main service center for commercial goods being transported through the Port of Alaska into Anchorage and throughout the state.

Span Alaska’s flagship 83-door cross-dock terminal will consolidate its existing Anchorage operations under one roof, increasing capacity and providing ample room for long-term growth. This new terminal is purpose-built to improve customer experience, streamline freight handling, and enable faster delivery of cargo to its final destination.

The facility is being built on Electron Drive, near International Airport Road and Minnesota Drive in Anchorage.
