Our Safety Culture
At Span Alaska, we are committed to safety. No phase of the operation is considered more important than accident prevention.
It is our policy to provide and maintain safe working conditions and to follow operating practices that will safeguard all employees. Span Alaska conducts monthly safety meetings, provides continuous training, and actively monitors safety and compliance for all employees. No job will be considered properly completed unless it is performed in a safe manner.
We focus on fostering a world-class safety culture that creates a workplace where every employee takes ownership of their personal safety and the safety of other employees, clients, and the public we encounter daily on the roads and highways.
We will be recognized for our organized, clean, and safe work environments, as well as for our total commitment to safe behaviors. By taking personal ownership at every level in the company, we will maintain a safety record that leads our industry and differentiates us in the marketplace.
